Description
70228 Technical Support Engineers - Internet ASP/hosting/content delivery company.

Support and facilitate Content Delivery between our customers' web servers and our systems.

Requires:

- Strong Unix including editors, Perl, scripting; strong Internet / networking knowledge in the latest and greatest technologies, DNS, Internet & network protocols and services (HTML, XML, Java, Apache, Tomcat), HTTP, Cache server & proxy server technology, et cetera.

- Need good scripting skills in any of the following: Javascript, Perl, shell scripting to address customer issues, troubleshoot and diagnose and script solutions.

- Preference for experience supporting web content delivery and / or streaming media technology.

Product runs mainly in Unix, Apache and IIS, interfacing with MS SQL and Oracle databases.
