Genesis10 is seeking a DB2 DBA Developer who has experience in building test environments to support application development efforts.df-tc

Experience/Skills
Responsibilities:
. Administers and controls data resources including multiple relational databases and servers.
. Performs physical database design, works with system administrators and uses data dictionary software packages to ensure data integrity and security, recovers corrupted data, and eliminates data redundancy.
. Uses tuning tools to improve database performance as well as performs capacity planning. Develops database backup and recovery strategies and implements them.
. Works with data specialists, project teams, technical support and computer operations to implement databases from test through stage into production.

Required:
. A senior level person is the most experienced, with the widest range of experience in various size and types of projects that are relevant to the role.
. Typically 5 to 8 or more years in the role would be expected.
