2. TASKS:
What are the tasks the individual will be required to perform?
1. Installation of DB2 for z/OS and related products.
2. Installation of UDB for Windows and related products.
3. Database design, construction, tuning, backup and recovery.
4. Work with application staff to develop solutions to business needs.
5. Maintain Stored Procedures use in replication process.
6. Maintain JCL used to perform database management.
7. Provide written work plans for major work efforts

Experience/Skills
Required Skill Set
In-depth knowledge of:
- UDB for Windows
- Windows 2000/2003 operating system
- DB2 for z/OS V8
- SMPE installation practices
- z/OS operating system
- Omegamon for DB2
- Database performance tuning
- Prior state gov-t welfare experience is preferred

Experienced with:
- COBOL - Application Code Software
- WebSphere
- SQL
- MQseries
- DB2 Connect
- TCPIP

Working Knowledge of the Following:
- QMF
- CICS
- IMS DB
- EXCEL
- WORD
- REXX
