Description
Seeking a DB2 UDB Production DBA to perform
Unix Shell Scripting, performance tuning, and
monitoring production database instances.
Other responsibilities will include tracking database utilization, growth and capacity planning, ensuring successful database backups, routinely testing database backup recovery processes and performing database tuning and maintenance.
Perform application SQL tuning, installing new database servers, creating new database instances, applying database patches and performing upgrades, enforcing database security and providing 24 X 7 on-call support.
