Description
Our client has specific needs for Database Administrator to support Oracle an SQL Server databases. Oracle Certified DBA and Microsoft SQL Certified DBA is preferred but candidates who have taken training classes in Oracle and SQL server and have experience will be considered. This position is an essential requirement in managing and tuning the Oracle and Microsoft database products implemented throughout the our clients organization. Our Client uses Oracle, as its primary production database management system and Microsoft SQL server in support of web applications. The DBA will be instrumental in maintaining our client's disaster recovery system for both Oracle and SQL Server applications. The DBA supports our client's Oracle spatial database for the companies GIS web presentation of mapping and location information. From the Oracle perspective the DBA is the companies lead technical person in presenting data to mapping applications. A node server has been implemented using XML technology.
