Our client located in Mendota Heights, MN has an immediate contract to hire opportunity for a DCS Support System Analyst II.
Summary: Responsible for reviewing, analysing, and modifying programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support an organization's application systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives. Identifies business requirements and effectively translates business requirements into design specifications. Develops and/or revises design documentation. Identifies elements of the existing system to incorporate in new designs, and prepares formal design specifications for review. Uses hardware and system software resources, and conforms to appropriate standards. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education: Bachelor's degree from a four year college or university in a related field.
Experience: 3-5 years systems analysis experience or in a related area; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Considerable knowledge of Quality/Continuous Improvement Considerable knowledge of Infrastructure/Connectivity Considerable knowledge of LAN Design, Implementation & Maintenance Skill in analysis and problem solving Considerable knowledge of LAN/Desktop/Voice Network Configuration Working knowledge of Microsoft services and service based application technologies Working knowledge of IIS 6.0 management and Web Server related technologies Good understanding of .NET framework based applications and how they integrate with Microsoft core components. Skill in Documentation Skill in Troubleshooting/Diagnostics Skill in software installation & maintenance Skill in desktop configuration and installation Skill in product administration & infrastructure support Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing Ability to analyze information and formulate conclusions and recommendations Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, vendors, clients and public
