Description
HOSPITALITYProvide Project Management skills relating to the systems conversion and implementation of all modules in the financial applications from our current version to the most recent release. This will include implementing a new Chart of Accounts and extensive process improvement to effectively utilize the new technology in this upgrade. Be able to manage and collaborate with project team to define business requirements and lead all functional design and requirement gathering activities. Provide guidance and suggestions to quickly adapt to changes and continuous process improvements.Provides IS leadership on all new and existing business application initiatives related to or involving Finance and accounting Systems. Supports defined Company strategies as the IT liaison to the Accounting, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Distribution, departments within the organization. Leads and directs multiple Accounting and Finance project initiatives concurrently.Must have experience creating functional and technical specifications used in the development of Accounting and Finance Systems uses and modifications.Facilitates and supports improved business processes and strategies by directing the development, implementation, and maintenance of business application systems related to or involving Accounting and Finance functionality.Leads in the discovery and requirement gathering for IT system development of business application systems.Directs and facilitates meetings and sessions with key department business leadership as it relates to process design and business system integration.Responsible for outsourced resource assignment and management for all Accounting and Finance business application development to Company deadlines. Responsible for the resolution and prioritization of all issues related to Accounting and Finance business applications not functioning properly.Directs the activities of contractors/consultants related to or involving Accounting and Finance functionality.Responsible for maintaining a structured development process for all accounting and Finance development personnel that can be measured and monitored.Provides daily, weekly and monthly project status and project hours and costing metrics to management and functional departments as required.

Requirements:

BS Degree in Accounting or related/equivalent work experience required.5+ years of experience in Accounting.Successful track record in project management and customer relationship management. Experience managing multiple development projects concurrently.Working knowledge of system development life cycles and the ability to organize a group of development professional using standard processes. Flexible to 50% travel.Preferably will have J.D. Edwards One World (Enterprise One experience) Financial and Payroll system experience.
