Position Description: DOORS Administrator

About the Organization:
GBT is an enterprise systems and software development organization that comprises the following five technology groups; servicer and Investor Reporting (SIR), echannel Technology, Automated Underwriting Technology, Single Family Mortgage Business Technology, and Single-Family Contracts Re-Engineering. The Tech Risk Specialist will work within the SIR group.

About servicer and Investor Reporting:
servicer and Investor Reporting Phase 1 is a large-scale, high-performance transaction mortgage and loan processing system and will be used to support several Trillion Dollars in volume. The application is being developed using proven technologies, including PL/SQL, Oracle, Ab-Initio and Java in complex combinations following established and proven methodologies and practices for the development of large scale technology systems. The purpose is to replace the Legacy platform for processing mortgages in fannie maes cash business line. The project team will deliver this work in a manner that is transparent to fannie maes customers, while adhering to aggressive timelines and goals to assure a competitive advantage in the marketplace.

About the Team:
The Configuration Management (CM) team:
Ensures SFT SIR organization adheres to ESO SCM Policy and Principles;
Manages rollout and infrastructure installation of commercial and inhouse CM tools (eg ClearCase, ClearQuest, DOORS, ACMS) across Unix and Windows environments;
Performs CM activities such as project setup, component setup, baseline creation, build assembly, deployments (upper environments) and end user CM support;
Provides formal and informal CM tools training, process consultation and architectural guidance to SFT SIR team;
Codes and customizes commercial and in-house CM tools to automate manual activities and enforce process adherence;
Provides status accounting reports to ensure SFT SIR team is aware of product change status and environment configurations;
Assists other teams in automating their deployments and workflow (eg Shared Services, Test Services);
Performs CM tools administration (eg backup verification, user tool access, space monitor);
Sets up all SFT SIR logical environments (string, integration, triage, performance);
Assists development team in verifying automation deployment scripts
Performs deployments to lower environments;
Serves as focal for resolving deployment issues in runtime environments;
Works with SFT SIR Operations to coordinate and verify environment infrastructure upgrades.

Responsibilities:
The DOORS Administrator function has the following responsibilities:

Maintains database integrity;
Ensures backup procedures and actual backup is executing;
Creates project level architecture;
Creates user accounts,
Maintains license setup and updates license configuration;
Designs, develops and executes DOORS Extension language (DXL) scripts based on user needs;
Maintains a configuration library for all DXL scripts.

Additionally, this person will support the on-going projects that are created in DOORS as well as participate in architecting the new project layout. The ideal candidate shall have some knowledge of requirements methodology supporting the industry best practice utilizing the SDLC process.

Qualifications:
Must-Have Skills:
Two or more years of DOORS experience using DXL to script user needs that include Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM)
Two or more years of Database administration functions includes: license, accounts, 24X7 support.
Five or more years of knowledge of Requirements methodologies and ability to use them for architecting process flows
Five or more years of coding, particularly with C or C (Object Oriented);
Proficiency in DOORS;
Ability to work effectively in a team or matrixes environment;
Ability to adapt to changing environment and requirements as well as the ability to support multiple projects;
Experience and proficiency in customer service, problem solving, and communication (verbal and written).

Nice to have Skills:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related major, or equivalent work experience in the IT industry;
Extensive knowledge of requirements methodologies and ability to automate impact/traceability analysis process;
Three or more years of experience developing code and working on the full development life cycle of small development projects;
