Description
We are looking for a strong Analog Engineer - Hybrid Design that knows filter design for a long term contract.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The position entails providing technical support in the form of reference designs or documentation as well as customer assistance. Candidate will design front-end hybrid of the xDSL system, in this activity you would need to use extensive Analog filter design background, good understanding of two wire impedance, and knowing the relationship of performance versus SNR. Candidate will participate in Board/System design, Schematic design, application support, and component selection. Candidate should work closely with DSP engineer to resolve any system issues, this will require to have a very good understanding of End-to-End system architecture. Work constructively with the customer and field personnel. The ability to accurately document detailed information concerning product and application issues will be required, as will the ability to keep schedules and deliverable commitments.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
? Expertise in Analog passive and active filter design
? Expertise in DSL technologies
? Expertise in using SPICE simulations
? Strong knowledge of copper line impedance and the affect of services such as POTS and ISDN on DSL lines.
? Strong background in component technologies, with emphasis on magnetic and Op Amp devices.
? Ability to bring up complex designs into production
? Good system level judgment and trade-off
? Dedicated individual who has the strong drive and desire to grow himself/herself and his/her team within the company; ability to lead others and promote team spirit by this sense of commitment and enthusiasm.
? Good verbal and written skills
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
? Knowledge of Voice (POTS and ISDN) technologies
? Working knowledge of PSPICE, MathCad, MATHLAB CAE tools
? Working knowledge and experience on domestic and international telecommunications, EMC, EMI and safety standards
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
? BSEE with 10 to 15 years of experience
? MSEE with 7 to 10 years of related experience
