Job Description:
- Manage the Phantom and Data Cleansing Data Extracts. Monitor the receipt of the data feeds on a monthly basis. If a feed is not on-time, the person will notify the sending system. The person is responsible for maintaining the contact list and log-on and passwords to all the systems that Phantom has access.
- Run the production processes for the usage based time series analyses. The language can be either SAS or SQL. If it is in SQL, the person will write, test and document the code. There are 5 usage series that have to be run each month. All five require maintaining a historical record as well as updates for the current month. In addition, a customized usage file is sent to dBoR for the Global Billing Project. The file creation is a production step in the above; but the file transfer is a UNIX based procedure.
- Work with team members to perform exploratory data analyses and to translate this into algorithms and processes that generate regular data sets with phantom circuit candidates.
- The ability to develop UNIX, awk, perl scripts for analyzing data extracts. Familiarity with excel, MS access, powerpoint, ftp, html, windows environment. Some analytical and statistical analysis skills.
- SAS experience is desirable.
- The ability to provide web-based reporting utilizing in-house tools and platforms
- Ability to assume lead role and work with minimal supervision.
- 3+ years of experience using JSP, Servlets, Beans, EJBs, J2EE, XML
- 5+ years of Oracle SQL and PLSQL experience
- Sun Java Certification a plus
- Oracle SQL/PLSQL Certification (desired but not required)
- Strong front-end development skills in HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, XSLT
- Must have used Eclipse, SQL Navigator/TOAD, Apache, Tomcat, Unix (Solaris), Oracle 8i/9i for production-level projects
- Experience using Tomcat, Apache, Oracle 9i AS or Oracle 10G Application Server, Web Logic (Desired but not required)
- Spring, Hibernate, Java Server Faces knowledge/experience.
- Must have experience developing with Spring framework and Hibernate
- 3+ years of web database application development experience using MVC Architecture
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to interact with clients and business users
- MS degree in Computer Science/Information Systems/etc with transcript
- Ability to take lead developer/architecture role for different systems
