xScion Solutions is an Information Technology professional services firm supporting leading commercial clients in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. We are currently supporting a large healthcare insurance company with some of their key hiring needs and are looking for Data Analyst/Developer

Data Analyst/Developer
6+ mos. w/probable extension
Salary: $90K-$112K based on experience
Washington, D.C.

Must be local to Washington, D.C.

Develop a process to synch data between mainframe and unix environments. Currently it is done manually and takes 7-10 days. The client wants to automate this along with establishing procedures, entry & exit criteria, and increase the speed. The mainframe environment uses DB2 and the unix environment (AIX) uses UDB.
Data Analysis, strong SQL skills. Experience w/DB2 UDB is required.
SQL Developer who has worked against both mainframe and Unix based datas. Unix and ETL experience.
