Position Summary
The Provider Network Analyst will provide analytical and technical expertise and collaborate with teams of subject matter experts to design, develop, test, and implement new data management systems used to track, trend, and improve Provider Relations, Contracting efforts, and Access to Care.

Major Responsibilities
  • Use computer applications and third party data sources to build and maintain databases, and to write reports that identify tracking needs, trends, and gap analysis.
  • Document findings identifying opportunities to enhance team and unit performance
  • Research and resolve complex technical and business issues that require advanced probing, analysis, and/or interpretation
  • Present analytical findings on both scheduled and as-needed bases, and make recommendations to leaders and associates in oral presentations and written reports
  • Participate in cross-functional workgroups as needed to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Manage technical projects, ensuring that project plan target dates are met.
  • Identify system gaps; propose innovative solutions or system enhancements.
  • Serve as a key departmental resource to facilitate and troubleshoot as necessary to ensure appropriate completion of various tasks.


Qualifications
  • Ability to effectively document and communicate complex information.
  • Hands on experiencing with data modeling and table design.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing reporting and measurement mechanisms.
  • Proven excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and effectively
  • Ability to communicate with non-technical staff and translates their needs into appropriate systems, processes, and reports.


Education/Related Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business or information systems required, Master's preferred.
  • BA/BS degree, preferably in math, statistics, business, or computer science required Master's preferred.
  • 2-4 years of relevant prior experience in data mining and relational databases.
  • Strong Microsoft applications experience, particularly Access, Excel and Visio
  • Experience with Survey tools and data preferable.
