Description
Only persons with previous data analysis experience using SQL, UNIX and/or SAS will be considered. This role will involve working with associates to analyze cross-sell opportunities, create solicitation files, and analyze responses. > Create Unix/Teradata scripts to automate data collection and reporting processes. > Perform direct marketing solicitations. This would include managing customer segmentations, tracking results, and reporting. > Reconcile existing marketing data to be compliant with new response tracking processes > Load, unload, and archive marketing data tables for responder analysis > Document new and existing data processes and warehouse structures. > Profile and verify marketing data for correctness. Attention to detail is essential in this task.

Requirements:

U.S. Citizen, Green Card, TN1 Experienced data analyst experience with retail banking or any experience within the financial services industry. Only persons with previous data analysis experience using SQL, UNIX and/or SAS will be considered. Must have excellent communications and analytical skills. Strong SQL skills are a must. Limited travel may be required. > Experience writing ad hoc SQL/SAS scripts > Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills > Teradata SQL (or experience with another industry standard RDBMS platform) > Unix/Shell Scripting > SAS programming Pluses:: > Previous experience in the financial services or consulting industry > Experiece in mainframe environment - MVS/JCL (a big plus) > Experience with direct marketing > Experience writing business requirements > Experience with technical database design > Experience writing technical documentation > Brio/Microstrategy (a plus but not required)df-tc
