Description
Job Description: TThe Department of Community Health is seeking the services of a Project Manager to successfully coordinate the project management activities for the Medicaid Data Broker Project.
The project manager, under limited supervision from the Project Director, will coordinate the Data Broker project management activities.

The major responsibilities for the Project Manager include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Develop and maintain the DCH Data Broker Project work plan with the project team and the Project Director
2. Manage client relationship with the Data Broker vendor to successfully implement the solution as scheduled
3. Identify DCH resources needed to complete required tasks
4. Provide estimates on the scheduling of tasks and resources for the project
5. Prepare dashboard and status reports for the Data Broker project
6. Manage and track project progress
7. Identify issues, risks and migration strategies associated with the Data Broker project implementation
8. Closeout of the project by providing a summary of any outstanding items, lesson learned and project documentation

Required Skills: At least five years of project management experience on a medium-large scale project
Prior experience in IT data integration systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in using MS-Office suite, including MS-Project
Experience in preparing status and dashboard reporting

Minimum Years of experience needed for required skills: 5
Preferred Skills: PMP certification or formal project management training
Knowledge of the current Georgia SUCCESS eligibility system
Knowledge of current Georgia eligibility determination process
