Data Center Engineer, Network Engineer, System Administrator - Web Servers, IIS, DNS, Firewalls, SQL - Hicksville, NY

If you are a Network System Specialist with experience managing networking and system infrastructure within a distributed hosting environment, please read on!

What you need for this position:
- Bachelors degree in Information technology or related field preferred
- Experience with Windows and Linux based Web architecture
- Prior experience with local and global load balancing as well as DNS management
- Knowledge of Web Servers, Web Proxy and cache
- Strong experience managing network traffic and load balancing strategies
- Understanding of Internet security including Router ACL and Firewalls
- Experience with 24/7 system supervision for monitoring, logging, backups and related operational controls
- SQL Server management preferred

What you'll be doing:
- Design, development, configuration, installation, troubleshooting, analysis and technical implementation of network and application infrastructures within a distributed hosting environment
-Working with Routers and firewalls to manage Internet security
- Managing load balancing tools and networking traffic
