At the direction of the Director of Content management, the Data Migration Specialist performs the tasks required to bring data and assets from internal or external third party collections into the Editorial site. It includes data analysis, conversion, and validation against original source data as well as image checks and error handling. Accuracy and attention to detail are crucial. Three years experience required.
Knowledge/Experience --
Must be used to working to very high degree of accuracy with little supervision. Experience with IPTC meta data standards and application a plus.

Skills/Abilities -
Close attention to detail is absolutely required. Must be proficient in Excel, Word and have a working knowledge of MS Access. Database or data conversion experience and knowledge of SQL and/or Perl scripting a plus.df-tc
