Description
Principal Duties and Essential Functions:
Provide architectural oversight for the development of new network
solutions. Perform third level problem determination, resolution, and
testing for multi-protocol routed LAN/WAN environments. Provide network
security services relating to general security, technical security, and
special security areas on problems requiring resolution. Support Network
Security operations. Perform Hardware / Software configuration and setup of
various security system devices. Provide guidance and analysis for
resolution of specific security related problems as needed. Perform special
assignments, such as pricing out customer change requests, inventory work,
and off-site installation work.

Basic Qualifications:
  • The applicant must have experience in network equipment installation, configuration, and operation.
  • The applicant should have working practical knowledge of Network Monitoring and administrative tools.
  • The applicant must possess a thorough understanding of standard and proprietary routing protocols.
  • The applicant must have extensive knowledge of network security hardware/software.
  • He/She must have superior troubleshooting skills.
  • The applicant should have working practical knowledge of Network security tools.
  • The applicant should have working practical knowledge of Network Monitoring and administrative tools.
  • The applicant should have working practical knowledge of a variety of PC software office tools, including word processors, spreadsheets, and drawing tools.
