Position Description:
Will drive the standards and best practices on ETL design and development in projects from a technical perspective and is fundamentally responsible for the below items

1) Implementing Error handling routines.
2) Implementing Audit & Reprocess capabilities.
3) Influence ETL Standards and Best Practices across different Project Tracks.
4) Accountable for ETL Performance Tuning.
5) Takes ownership of the design (high level & low level) reviews on ETL coding standards captures all essential design elements.
6) Makes sure that the development team meets and follows quality and coding standards as well as ETL best practices

Required skills:
He/she should have 8-10 plus years of experience on ETL projects having worked on all SDLC phases (Requirements, design - high level and low level, development/implementation, testing, and maintaining multi-tier applications). He/she should have 4-6 years of experience working as an architect on IBM Information Server Data Stage 7.x/8.x projects. Must have exposure to complex and large scale ETL implementations. Deep working knowledge of Oracle and data integration technologies. Good/Fair working knowledge on Business Intelligence (BI) projects and reporting tools. Strong SQL skills and a thorough understanding of database constructs with strong data analysis and data quality assessment skills. Should be fluent in SQL, UNIX Shell Scripting. Should be able to do performance troubleshooting and remediation. Should have the ability to develop and follow change management processes for consistent and maintainable versions. Functional knowledge in Quote to cash is required. Knowledge in other areas such as Sales force automation, Customer Service & support, financial processes are preferred. The candidate should have experience in high tech industry. Prior experience in building ETL for Enterprise Datawarehouse is a must.
