What you need for this position:

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer, Mathematics, Information Technology or related science.
- 5 years experience in implementation that involved Mainframe VSAM, DATACOM (non-SQL version) or equivalent file types.
- 6 years expertise in installation, configuration and setup of any tools that may be required for migration, archival and retrieval purposes.
- 6 years experience in data management best practices and familiar with regulatory compliance, audit and legal requirements.
- 5years experience in performing data migrations, data archival, data retrieval and report .

What you'll be doing:

- Archive data in a standardized platform independent format that cannot be altered, is easy to retrieve and can easily be maintained by existing IT staff skill-sets.
- Documentation of key criteria used by auditors to evaluate regulatory compliance of migrated data.
- Identify a standardized easy to use reporting tool that can be used by all client's departments for archived data
- A search engine for migrated/archived data. Canned reports and ad hoc reporting capabilities that will replace the obsolete methods users currently use to research and access historical data
