Description

Our client is a leading provider of energy and petrochemical services. We are in need of a Data Warehouse Specialist to review the proposed data model and design to verify that the start scheme meets the long-term objectives of the client's Energy business.

The legacy system, SENA data warehouse will not meet the competitive needs of the SENA business in 2009+ in terms of information detail, hardware scalability, work efficiency, or presentation capability.
As the Data Warehouse Consultant, the successful candidate will validate the transition plan to the Synapse warehouse and provide a standard, scalable environment for SENA reporting and analytics.df-tc

Experience/Skills
  • 7+ years experience with Data Warehouses
  • Technical skills using Erwin and Informatica required
  • Knowledge to analyze a data model for flexibility, scalability, risks/issues, strengths/shortcomings, performance
  • Ability to document findings and recommend changes for improvement.
  • Ability to think big-picture / strategically
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combined experience / training
  • Energy Trading & Risks experience preferred
