Description
Summary:

The Data Warehouse Developer will demonstrate a detailed knowledge and understanding of all Data Warehousing aspects including design, ETL, DTS, modeling, OLAP, Data Marts, and Database Administration.

Responsibilities:

Participates in the design and implementation of logical and physical technical architecture at all levels of the Data Warehouse
Participates in the design, implementation, documentation and future planning of ETL and design development
Participates in the design, implementation, documentation and future planning of ETL audit/exception capturing
Participates in the creation and implementation of Data Warehousing development standards
Develops and maintains database objects such as views, stored procedures, functions, etc
Evolves database models to meet new and changing business requirements
Develops Data Warehouse exports as required
Provides management with time estimates regarding personal development efforts
Adheres to security standards and practices
Assists in mentoring other team members
Exhibits excellent communication skills with all team members
Identifies and sponsor new initiatives
Works independently and as a technical team member

General Education and/or Experience:

Bachelors Degree (BS/BA) and 2-5 years of related experience and/or training is required; or equivalent combination of education and experience in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline is preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Technical Education and/or Experience:

Candidate must have 3+ years of IT or business experience in a related role, 3+ years experience with SQL, VBScript, SQL Server, DTS, some experience with Analysis Services, Embarcadero or other modeling tools preferred. Also have 2+ years experience with Mortgage industry and with Data Warehouse knowledge or experience preferred.

Computer Skills:

Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), and MS Analysis Services, modeling, Embarcadero, Essential experience a preferred.df-tc
