Position Description

The position would offer varied responsibilities including maintaining existing data warehouse components; developing new business subject areas in the warehouse; working with business analysts to fulfill reporting requirements; evaluation of new tools; participation in discussions involving requirements, issues, future directions, etc.



Skills for this position would include

Familiarity with Oracle databases

The ability to write and tune complex SQL statements

A solid understanding of data warehousing modeling concepts

Understanding of ETL concepts

Exposure to both tool-driven and PL/SQL-coded ETL

Experience with OWB (Oracle Warehouse Builder)

An understanding of requirements gathering specific to data warehousing

Understanding of data warehousing concepts from an Oracle physical design perspective (partitioning, bitmaps, etc)

Exposure to business intelligence tools a plus.df-tc
