Summary:
Leads the development of Data Warehousing, supplying a reliable source of information for system integration and decision-making.

Responsibilities:

Conducts and/or participates in performance reviews of technical staff
Work with the team and management to determine MBO goals
First line of contact for day-to-day duties, tasks, schedules and personnel issues
Leads and delegates developer tasks based on direction from management
Acts as a liaison between development groups ensuring development efforts related to EDW are successfully implemented
Participates in determining resource allocation needs based on up-coming demands also on improvements for team and department
Back-up for Data Warehouse Manager (Assumes all responsibility in managers absence)
Researches and assesses available technologies, solutions, and/or enhancements such as strategic planning, including budgeting, forecasting and revenue for the department
Enforces and ensure SDLC and change management policies are adhered to
Provides management with time estimates regarding team development efforts
Participates in the strategic planning of Enterprise Data Warehouse long-term vision
Assists in developing service levels and operational metrics
Identifies and sponsor new initiatives
Manages/leads and trains other technical team members
Participates in resource management, including performance reviews, continued education, interviewing, hiring, terminating, goal setting and objectives, incentives and team retention

General Education and/or Experience:

Candidate must have leadership, management, motivational, organizational, customer service, and strong communication skills. Bachelors Degree (BS/BA) and 5-7 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is a must.

Certificates, Licenses, Technical Education and/or Experience:

Must have SQL Server Data Warehouse Lead experience. Must understand SQL Server Code. Leadership skills and experience required.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully and individual should be proficient with Microsoft Windows and with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).df-tc
