Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a DataCenter Operations Analyst to join our team in Phoenix, AZ.

Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for monitoring all Production Midrange and Mainframe Computer Operations environments. Monitor computer/peripheral equipment and research error messages on the following system platforms, AS400, Vax Open VMS, Unix, Tandem, IDXTEND. Monitor/Troubleshoot multi-system Interfaces within the Hospital environments (Pharmacy, Allegra, Citation, Caradata,). Operate and monitor multi-system environment for computer equipment failures and resolve operating issues. Operate internal computers using established programs and procedures. Execute established production processing flows. Troubleshoot in the event of operating difficulties. Maintain computer operation records. Operate peripheral EDP equipment, such as tape drives, disk drives, printers and desktop.

Required Skills:
  • 3+ years of working knowledge of one of the following: AS400, Open VMS, Unix, Tandem, IDXTEND.
  • 1+ years of Multi interface Monitoring Tool usage (Integration Channel, MTM).
  • Working knowledge of Mulit System Reboot procedures.
  • 1+ years of experience supporting a multi-platform report distribution software product.
  • Ability to sit and or stand for extended periods of time and doing close visual work with the computer.
  • Ability to lift 45 lbs. on a consistent basis.

    Desired Skills:
  • Healthcare background preferred.

    Minimum Educational Requirements:
  • Degree in Computer Science, MIS or related area, or equivalent work experience.
