Job Description

Database Administrator/Data Warehouse - SQL2005

ACS has an excellent opportunity for a Mid Level DBA in the transportation industry ().
This DBA will have the opportunity to work with many of the latest Microsoft technologies including SQL 2005, BizTalk 2006R2, SharePoint 2007, PerformancePoint, and custom ASP.Net applications. The primary responsibilities and skills are listed below. This position also has some exposure to top industry experts which provide excellent learning and career development opportunities. Motivated, strong team players required.
Required Skills

4+ Years of exclusive SQL 2005 experience

Professional experience with database replication and database mirroring

Maintain and develop multiple SQL 2005 database servers

Databases support for multiple C# ASP.Net custom applications

Work in an open team environment using Agile Project Management (SCRUM).

Requirements Gathering, Consulting, and Communications

Full knowledge of DB administration including:

Clustering

Performance tuning

Indexing, Constraints, Triggers, and Views

Job Scheduling, Backups and Notifications

Database architecture and design

TSQL and Stored Procedures

Transformation and Integration

Performance Optimization and Testing

Additional helpful Skills
Some experience with ASP.Net 2.0+ and C#
Some experience with BizTalk 2006
Some experience with Excel 2007 OLAP connectivity
Some experience with server installation and setup

All other duties as assigned.
