Description
Immediate need for a highly motivated individual to join a growing tech firm as a Database Administrator. Responsibilities include developing database driven applications utilizing new web-based technologies with an object oriented approach to development. This position will also be responsible for the day-to-day administration of database servers with networked applications, hosted internet data services and provide overall day-to-day management of existing database servers in production, development and quality assurance. BS in Computer Science or 3+ years DBA experience strongly preferred. Experience with UNIX Scripting (Shell, Perl, Python, PHP), data warehousing, 2+ years of experience with MySQL, and a solid understanding of LINUX systems administration strongly preferred.
