Database Marketing Analyst

Our customers are scientists and engineers in the worldwide electronics industry involved with advanced materials research, semiconductor device development and fabrication, and the production of end products such as portable wireless devices. In a consultative or temporary capacity, the Database Analyst will be responsible for creating, programming, and maintaining target account, pricing, and end user layer databases.  These databases are used for executing our target marketing programs, measuring their effectiveness via lead, opportunity, and order reporting, and for supporting overall Product and Commercial Marketing needs.

Key activites include:

 * Build-out and maintain our target account site ID (KASID) databases. These databases are used to identify target customer sites & market segments, and are the foundation of targeted promotional activities and results tracking world-wide.

 * Create and maintain self service list-pull tools for use by WW Direct Marketing managers. These tools will interface with our key customer databases including CRM, KASID and other end user layer data sets.

 * Create and run reports as needed for reporting on lead, opportunity, and order metrics at target sites and other accounts, and assist in automating these reports. Suggest ways to optimize ROI visibility and measures.

 * Maintain documentation of work on processes and projects; keep work in a state ready for knowledge sharing.

Qualifications include:

 * Bachelors Degree in Database Marketing, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering or equivalent required.

 * Well-versed in relational database design and use practices.

 * 2-5 years of experience using relational databases in a business environment.

 * Fluent in SQL, MS Access, and Excel, with data modeling and reporting skills.

 * Advanced Oracle CRM, database and TCA experience highly desirable.

 * Ability to bridge the gap between Marketing needs and database design and reporting requirements. Experience with suggesting new methods to improve database marketing effectiveness.

 * A self-starter who is able to take concepts and directions, and work independently to produce results with minimal supervision.
