A Huntsville based accounting software value added re-seller has an immediate need for a Database Technical Support Specialist for its Huntsville office. In addition to the base salary, there is a very lucrative incentive plan that is paid on a quarterly basis. You must have experience supporting business computer systems for accounting, payroll, human resources, manufacturing and customer relations management (CRM) applications. We do not need programmers nor do we need Microsoft certified network people. We need a person who understands accounting databases and can respond to end user technical issues. Your main task will be to provide day-to-day technical support to the client base based on telephone or e-mail requests for assistance. You must have excellent analytical skills for trouble shooting and solving problems. We would prefer some knowledge of computer based accounting systems. You must also have experience with Visual FoxPro 5.0, 6.0, or 7.0, ASPIC/SOBBED Pro Series accounting system, Windows NT or backOffcie Server, and a working knowledge with Electronic Spreadsheets inclusion MS Excel.
