We have an immediate need for a Demand Analyst/Planning

JOB DESCRIPTION
Contract assignment - 6 months
Local Candidates preferred

Looking for someone who is more then just a Buyer. They need to have been a Demand Analyst and worked in planning.

Required skills:
Must have experience with Make-to-Order and Make-to-Stock production.
Strong SAP knowledge, especially maintenance of MRP Master Data settings.
Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and Visio.
College degree preferred; but will consider a candidate without a degree if they have strong experience in Materials/Demand Planning.
Focus of assignment is implementation of Sales & Operations Planning for Make-to-order products, including Inventory Management for Finished goods and parts & components.
Requires travel to Spartanburg (SC) and Grand Prairie (TX) (maybe once a month).

Job Description:
Interface with Product Management, Sales, and International Marketing to obtain the necessary non-historical information for the forecasting process.
Maintain the forecasting database (historical demand figures) along with all inputs such as market trends, promotions, pipeline data; using defined tools (FGS, SAP APO).
Prepare monthly, rolling 18-months Demand Plan on SKU level and provide consensus Demand Plan to related plants/vendors (load forecast into SAP).
Coordinate with Plant Supply (Materials) Planning to review supply demand gaps and determine course of actions to bridge gaps. Support system-based materials planning.
Inventory management by determining appropriate ROPs and Safety Stock levels (stock valuation processing, ABC - XYZ analysis etc.). Accountable for Finished goods inventory of Planning Unit(s).
Set up and maintain SAP Master Data related to Demand Planning (MRP figures such as SS, ROP, MRP code, Minimum and Maximum lot size, Rounding value).
Prepare and provide Sales & Operations Planning Metrics such as Forecast Accuracy, Inventory Turn Rate and Negative Availability.
Maintain Sales & Operations Planning SharePoint site for related Planning Units.
Perform reporting and analysis as required to support Product Management to define stock/non-stock items.
As S&OP coordinator, schedule and execute Demand Plan -, Supply Plan -, and Business Consensus Meeting on a monthly bases.
Define and track action items for Sales & Operation Planning process implementation for EABU Planning Units.
Map existing and desired Planning Processes for EABU Planning Units.
