Description
Large Healthcare Information Systems (HIS) consulting company has several new positions on the Site Deployment Team implementing the Epic ambulatory Clinical Information Systems (CIS) throughout California. The Deployment Consultant will support the Team Lead and Deputy Team Lead to ensure the successful, on-schedule completion of all site-related deployment activities, as well as functioning as the primary liaison to, and advocate for the end user.

Responsibilities:
. Identify and communicate task dependencies and potential risks/issues
. Review, evaluate and assist with testing each new system release and communicate necessary revisions/changes to Epic in advance of user access
. Assist with project coordination during the prep and go live phases
. Provide direct support to clinicians and staff during go-live
. Facilitate deployment activities to ensure site preparedness
. Work proactively to mitigate any potential risks
. Conduct product demonstrations

Qualifications:
. Experience (3+ years) in operational management or systems implementation with progressively more complex responsibilities and accountabilities
. Demonstrated excellence in analysis, documentation and presentation tools
. Understanding of health care business and care delivery processes
. Strong communication, consulting, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
. Ability to determine key business issues and develop appropriate action plans from multi-disciplinary perspectives.

Experiences:
. Clinician and/or clinical operations
. Clinical systems as a user or implementation specialist
. Electronic medical records

Relocation is not required. Travel is a MUST for this position.
