We have an immediate need for a Senior Level Enterprise Engineer with SCCM

JOB DESCRIPTION

Contract Opportunity (6 months initially) - WORK REMOTELY

Required skills:
Deployment/3rd Level Escalated Support - Engineer (SCCM System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)

Position requires a senior level engineer with a minimum of 5+ years of Enterprise level experience, specializing in the design, deployment, configuration, and support of the System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) tool (formally SMS) application, for desktops. Position is a dual role, acting in deployment and/or support role.

Skills and experience requirements:
Personal
? Highly motivated and reliable
? Able to work remotely as an individual without supervision for extended periods of time
? Ability to work in a group as a team member with specific responsibilities
? Ability to work for long periods of time over the telephone or remote conferences
? Top communication skills
? Outstanding documentation skills

Projects
Experience in Enterprise (20K + seats) project planning and execution
? Current state analysis (data gathering, document, and analysis)
Must have experience in assessing business requirements and doing discovery
Must have experience in documenting processes used to achieve business requirements
? Future state documentation, design, implementation, and configuration
Experience in assessing how business requirements can be met using new solution (SCCM)
Ability to suggest areas of improvement (both in architecture and service)
Experience in providing path options to achieve best possible Future State)
Ability to assess resource requirements
1. Document tasks of each possible path of implementation/upgrade
2. Ability to assess risks associated to each task
3. Establish both effort and duration of each task
? Ability to schedule and prioritize tasks to obtain maximize productivity

Technical
? Must have a High Level understanding of services provided through SMS 2003
? Must have expert working knowledge of SCCM 2007
- Architecture and design knowledge to meet service requirements
- System requirements (Hardware and software)
- Service implementation (Software installation)
- Service configuration
- Service processes (Develop and document methodologies)
? Expert Experience in implementation of SCCM 2007 as a new solution or as an upgrade to SMS 2003
- Understand Software distribution and options
- Understand SCCM WSUS and Patching options
- Understand Reporting and have ability to create custom reports
- Understand O/S deployments and options for delivering O/S solutions
- Understand DCM and NAP (and implications)
- Understand Internet based clients requirements
- In-Depth Active Directory Integration knowledge as related to SCCM
- Understand various tool migration strategies
? Must have above average knowledge of SQL and query skills
? Must have outstanding troubleshooting skills
- Projects usually include a proof of concept stage
