Description
Member of a team of developers who will develop, test, verify, and release front-end, back-end, or physical verification decks as part of analog/mixed-signal Design Kits for use by external customers. Provide in-depth Design Kit support for internal and external customer questions or issues. Work with team to evaluate and integrate new or emerging technologies that improve Design Kit and customer experience.
Position Duties & Responsibilities:
. Develop, test, and integrate physical verification rule decks for DRC or LVS using Mentor Calibre or Cadence Assura tools
. Develop, test, and integrate physical verification rule decks for parasitic extraction using Mentor Calibre or Cadence Assura tools
. Interact with other developers to integrate front-end, layout, and physical verification decks for Design Kit components
. Provide in-depth expert-level support to internal and external customers on Design Kit questions or issues
. Work with other developers to improve development process and modularize Design Kit components for quick re-use
. Work with (or act as) QA and integration engineer to improve Design Kit quality through automated testing.
. Examine customer tape-in data to ensure integrity before releasing to MaskCAD

Bachelor's Degree minimum required (Masters preferred), prefer engineering or science degree with 5+ years industrial experience in the semiconductor fabrication field. Experience/Skills
Experience: . 4+ years experience in developing rule decks for Mentor Graphics Calibre verification tool; . 2+ years experience in developing rule decks for Mentor Graphics xCalibre and Calibre xRC parasitic extraction tools; . 2+ years experience in developing rule decks for Cadence Assura DRC/LVS/RCX verification. . 5+ years experience in supporting customers from a physical verification perspective.
