Description
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Analog IC Design Engineer responsible for review of product definition and specifications from Marketing and Applications Engineering, providing product development estimates for business plans, executing product design, and leading validation through to market release. Products will include automotive power management circuits on an advanced BiCMOS process and radiation tolerant power management designs on proprietary BiCMOS. Will be expected to be the driving force and primary responsible individual for the product design process.

Required Skills:
Must have BSEE and 10 years experience in BiCMOS and/or CMOS mixed signal IC design including Op Amps, comparators, oscillators, voltage references, I/O, transistor level logic, and have knowledge of process-layout interactions. Needs to have the confidence and drive to be a leading member of a product development team including Applications, Product, and Test Engineering. Candidate must posses a demonstrated ability to take products through to market release. Strong written and verbal communications skills and fluency in English are necessary. Desirable to have experience in the following areas: Cadence design tools; switching power supplies (e.g., Buck, Boost, isolated and non-isolated); IC ESD protection; BiCMOS process IC's. Any experience with state machines, digital design RTL coding, synthesis, verification test-benches, and timing constraints, and AMS Verilog mixed signal simulation is a plus. Because of the nature of some of the radiation tolerant designs US citizenship is required, and U.S. Secret security clearance would be an asset.
