Description
Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. It is currently looking for a Deskside Support Technician to join our team in Philadelphia, PA.

Job Responsibilities:
Provides technical support by performing installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of personal computer and related software/hardware. Trouble shoots software and hardware failures and identifies network problems when related to personal desktop computers. Activities include recognition, research, isolation, resolution, and follow-up steps. Screens, refers, and diagnoses internal inquiries and work requests as they relate to maintenance of personal computers utilizing experience and understanding of Perot Systems' MIS environment. May also provide some phone supported.

Typically, the Technician level participates in supportive role by providing analytical and in person technical support. Assignments are semi routine but require attention to detail. Normally follows establish procedures on routine work. Under general supervision, plans, installs, and tests less complex vendor supplied computer system hardware or software.

Required Skills:

  • MS Windows 2000, XP / MS Office

  • Knowledge of peripheral PC device troubleshooting

  • Knowledge of Network Infrastructure Systems, MS and Novell Server Operating Systems

  • Outstanding Customer Service Skills


Desired Skills:

  • AD, SMS/ZEN knowledge a plus
