Description
Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Frisco, Tx.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Monitor problem ticket work queues and interact with hospital staff to provide progress updates and closure notification
  • Standard PC/printer break-fix tasks
  • Some break-fix tasks related to application-specific requests (i.e. installing vendor software, resetting passwords, etc)
  • Deployment of new PC's/printers, up to and including un-packaging of items, OS-level installs, application installs, execution of local scripts, and physical deployment of hardware
  • Provide assistance with some server and network-related tasks
  • Provide operational assistance duties as needed, up to and including backup tape swap, network cable patch downs, etc.

    Required Skills:
  • Proficient in Windows XP OS, as well as PC software installations (2+ years experience)
  • Experience with end-user support process for desktops (first-call resolution, problem tracking via automated system, prioritizing work requests)
  • Proficient in Lexmark and HP printer management, up to and including physical replacement, network programming, and device setup
  • Ability to foster positive personal relationships, interact with frustrated end-users, excel in a team environment, and a willingness to learn
  • Serve in an on-call rotation with defined SLA's
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, walk amongst a very large campus, and traverse stairs

    Desired Skills:
  • Experience using remote control tools to resolve trouble tickets
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory environments, up to and including adding/removing workstations and logon scripting
  • Microsoft certifications are a plus, but not required
