PEROT SYSTEMS CORPORATION is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. It is currently looking for a Desk Side Support Analyst to join our team in Coral Gables, Florida.

Job Responsibilities:
The Desk Side Support Analyst provides technical support by performing installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of personal computer and related software/hardware. Trouble shoots software and hardware failures and identifies network problems when related to personal desktop computers. Activities include recognition, research, isolation, resolution, and follow-up steps. Screens, refers, and diagnoses internal inquiries and work requests as they relate to maintenance of personal computers utilizing experience and understanding of Perot Systems' MIS environment. May also provide some phone support.

Typically, the analyst participates in a supportive role by providing analytical and in person technical support. Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative. Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions. Under little supervision, plans, installs, and tests less complex vendor supplied computer system hardware or software.

Required Skills:
  • Requires 2+ years of related work experience supporting Windows operating systems.

  • Novell experience is required with a strong preference for CNA Certification.

  • Must possess a working knowledge of WordPerfect and Microsoft Office.

  • Good customer service skills

  • The ability to work in a fast paced environment is a MUST!

  • Understanding of hospital operations


  • Minimum Educational Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science is desirable
