Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Desk Side Support Analyst to join our team in Hattiesburg, MS.

Job Responsibilities Summary:
This person will work in support of a large site hospital campus. Our environment is Microsoft network with client Windows workstations and various Healthcare related applications. Participate in supportive role by providing analytical, in-person technical support, and Service Desk support for Information Technology and Communications.
  • Provide technical support by performing installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of personal computer and related software/hardware.
  • Trouble shoot software and hardware failures and identifies network problems when related to personal desktop computers. Recognition, research, isolation, resolution, and follow-up steps.
  • Screen, refer, and diagnose internal inquiries and work requests as they relate to maintenance of personal computers utilizing experience and understanding of Perot Systems' IT environment.
  • Provide Level 1 phone support.
  • Work on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative.
  • Understand implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions.
  • Under little supervision, plan, install, and test less complex vendor supplied computer system hardware or software.

    Required Skills:
  • A minimum of 2+ years experience in desktop trouble shooting and repair
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively and professional with broad range of people, including senior managers, client staff and others.
  • Extraordinary attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Must be able to learn and understand business processes quickly.
  • Basic knowledge of software installation and troubleshooting procedures, device imaging, and network connectivity.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and execute delivery of projects.
  • Familiarity with information technology principles, theories and concepts.

    Desired Skills:
  • McKesson experience.
  • Microsoft and hospital software packages experience.
  • Prior Health System experience.
  • Windows Server Administration.
  • Prior exposure to a customer-facing role desired.
  • Healthcare industry knowledge or experience


    Minimum Certifications or Other Professional Credentials:
    COMPTIA A+ certification preferred
