SUMMARY Provide support for the Branches, complete Change Requests, resolve and update problem tickets, install and configure standard software packages, install and configure standard hardware, serve as Client Services projects resources, resolve most technical issues without assistance and rotate weekly after hours on call support. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Based in Montgomery, AL Provide remote and/or on-site PC and LAN/WAN technical support Troubleshoot routine to complex PC and LAN problems in both wired and wireless environments Update and Resolve Problem and Change Tickets Configure and install standard Hardware and Software Provide network user account administration Provide site Phone System administration Create and maintain LAN documentation Assist in maintaining an accurate asset inventory Proactively identify potential problems and make recommendations regarding solutions Occasional non-business hour support Occasional travel to the branches with overnight stays Develop and maintain an account relationship with branch management MINIMUM QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS 4 year degree in a relevant field or an equivalent amount of post-secondary education and experience preferred 2 plus years of Technical Support experience required Experience in Windows 2000/XP desktop, Windows 2000/2003 server and basic wired and wireless networking skills required Experience in maintaining and supporting PCs, printers and network appliances required Very Proficient at troubleshooting PCs in a wide area network environment including wireless connectivity required Knowledge of the networked desktop environment, and associated hardware and software Ability to explain technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others and fosters understanding Strong customer service skills Strong communication skills Ability to prioritize tasks and make decisions within established guidelines and policies Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Ability to adapt to changes, and resolving conflict *****MUST COMPLETE & PASS CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK AND 7 PANEL DRUG TEST BEFORE START DATE****
