Description
Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Desktop Support Analyst to join our team supporting our Lakewood and Los Alamitos facilities.

Job Responsibilities:
Day-to-day duties include troubleshooting of PC hardware, Thin client devices, printers, PDAs and other assorted peripherals. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of basic software installation and troubleshooting procedures, device imaging, and network connectivity. Our environment is almost exclusively Microsoft-based, with Windows and Citrix workstations and various Healthcare related applications.

Required Skills:
  • 2+ years of desktop support experience in a large environment
  • 4+ years' experience supporting Windows 9.x, 2000, 2k and XP, general printer support and PC's.
  • Must be the quintessential team player.
  • Ability to work with others or independently when called upon.
  • Must be motivated and willing to learn.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds, walk/stand for extended periods of time, and maneuver under desks and between server racks.

    Desired Skills:
  • Great customer skills.
  • Experience supporting PALM OS / Blackberry devices, AV equipment, printers, and telephones.
  • Healthcare environment experience.

    Certifications or Other Professional Credentials:
  • Microsoft certifications are a plus, but not required.

    *Candidate will be a part of a regular on-call rotation covering nights and weekends.*
