Description
Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Folsom, CA.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Resolve hardware and software problems expeditiously and with minimum disruption to computer / phone system users and coordinates hardware repairs with vendors, when appropriate.

  • Complete desktop related projects as assigned (e.g., office moves, printer installation, Phone and Fax moves and installations, etc).

  • Install personal computer related hardware and software according to schedule, scope of objectives, and standards.

  • Install / configure new equipment.

  • Assist users with using desktop software when appropriate.

  • In coordination with LAN Administrators, assist with network software installation and problem troubleshooting.

  • Maintain desktop, terminal, and printer hardware & software documentation.

  • Support on-call schedule and response to priority incidents as needed.

  • Update problem / project-tracking records in a timely manner.

    Required Skills:
  • 3+ years of desktop support experience
  • 3+ years of Windows 2000/XP experience
  • Knowledge of Industry Standards

    Desired Skills:
  • Background in healthcare, preferably in a hospital environment or 24/7 environment NEC.

    Minimum Educational Requirements:
  • College experience

    Minimum Certifications or Other Professional Credentials:
  • MCP or other Microsoft Certification

    * Ability to walk long distances quickly, stand for long periods of time, and lift and move 45 pounds on a consistent basis is required.*
