We have a contract to hire Desktop support analyst position that will support end-users within a geographic region on all client-related technology. Provides cross-regional support upon request. Initial troubleshooting and second tier support, incident recording and problem resolution.
Provides 1st and 2nd level hardware and software support, to users within a specific region, as assigned or requested through the Help Desk.
Supports and maintains infrastructure in conjunction with Operations and Engineering Services according to the established Quality Management System.
Utilizes HEAT system to create, monitor and updates trouble tickets. Creates and updates technical documentation in compliance with the Quality Management System
Install, move and configure computer and telephone hardware. Provides end-user training on all company-standard software and hardware.

Experience/Skills
Intermediate to advanced knowledge: MS Office Suite, Windows 2000/XP in a wired/wireless network environment. Active Directory
Intermediate knowledge: Microsoft SMS 2003, Microsoft RIS, Citrix Metaframe and nFuse. Terminal Services, Nortel Contivity client, iPass and other Remote Access technologies. Sygate and other personal firewall software. Veritas Backup Exec. Experience using help desk software (preferably HEAT)
Working Knowledge: MS 2003 Advanced Server
Hardware Support: HP/Compaq desktops/laptops/servers; HP, Canon, Xerox printers.
