Description
A Pacific Northwest based company is looking for a Desktop support specialist to help with the relocation of their satellite office to the Portland area. The desktop support specialist will be responsible for the breakdown and setup of all Windows based desktops and printers.

Experience/Skills
Qualifications• Two years experience supporting Windows XP/Vista • Two years experience supporting common productivity applications • Two years experience with Adobe Creative Suite tools • Thorough understanding of PC and Mac hardware (PPC and Intel x86) • Excellent troubleshooting skills as well as escalation management • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Two years prior experience in a technical leadership position Preferred Abilities and Knowledge• Experience with display calibration hardware, software and methodologies • Detailed understanding of TCP/IP and common network protocols • Understanding of license management • Experience with high I/O desktops (RAID/Image Playback/Composition) • Experience supporting Avid Post Editing Systems • Experience working and negotiating with vendors We currently have openings for one Sr. Desktop Systems Administrators Employee should be able to lift equipment up to 45 lbs in weight
