Position Summary:This position has the overall responsibility of supporting computer and network systems. This includes maintaining and supporting hardware issues and software applications related to the shop floor and the business areas.• Provide end user support• Perform daily user administration tasks• Coordinate and perform daily system backups• Build client machines and deployment• Setup, install, test, and upgrade workstations• Troubleshoot PC Hardware failures• Troubleshoot PC Software failuresPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities:1. • Provide end user support• Perform daily user administration tasks• Coordinate and perform daily system backups• Build client machines and deployment• Setup, install, test, and upgrade workstations• Troubleshoot PC Hardware failures• Troubleshoot PC Software failures• Monitor the Shop floor systems• Maintain the plant WMS system• Maintain Windows NT/2000/2003 servers• Administer local area network, user security and application security• Maintain accurate inventory of all hardware and software• Maintain and develop documentation on systems and procedures as directed• Monitor all daily data transfers between corporate legacy and Local systems• Assembles and configures network components and associated services.• Sets up and maintains basic network operations, including assembly of network hardware, and provides assistance to the network administrator.• Performs network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems.• Upgrades network hardware and software components as required.• Installs, upgrades and configures network printing, directory structures, rights, security, software and files services.• Provides users with network technical support.• Responds to needs and questions of users concerning their access of network resources.• Establishes network users, user environments, directories, and security for networks being installed• Installs and tests necessary software and hardware

Experience/Skills
Minimum Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements:„X Fundamental understanding of computer hardware and software.„X Fundamental understanding of networking.„X Fundamental understanding of overall system relationship between business and shop floor operations„X Ability to interface with end users and troubleshoot problems.„X Willingness to learn new concepts and ideas Minimum Education and Experience:- Associates degree or equivalent experience- 5-7 years experience
