Description
Do you have proven Information Technology related desktop support experience? Our client is looking for a desktop support analyst to serve as a first line of support for internal customers. The main responsibilities will include providing advanced hardware technical assistance and support; troubleshooting and resolving system hardware, software and communications failures and conflicts, evaluating existing computer systems hardware and performing system upgrades; based on customer needs, customizing and testing computer systems and resolving configuration conflicts and errors. The candidate will diagnose and troubleshoot hardware such as desktops, laptops, servers and enterprise software, network, remote access, managing end-user accounts and printer issues. Experience/Skills
The skilled candidate will possess 3+ years of experience in desktop support and possess extensive support experience with HP/Compaq hardware. In addition, knowledge of network troubleshooting is highly desired. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are essential for success in this role. A college degree in computer science and/or high school diploma with 2 years equivalent work experience is required and Microsoft or CompTIA certifications are strongly preferred.
