Description
Our client, a 55 year old non-profit organization servicing the higher education industry, is looking for a technical support / Novell administration professional for a contract-to-hire opportunity. Daily responsibilities of the position will include (but are not limited to):
  • End user support via telephone, e-mail, and desk-side
  • Light network administration (i.e. user administration, password resets, etc.)
  • End user training
  • Some hardware support including PCs, printers, copiers, fax machines, etc.

Experience/Skills
The successful candidate with have a strong customer service background and mentality along with 3+ years experience with:
  • Dell PC hardware
  • Windows XP troubleshooting and support
  • Microsoft Office support and training
  • Novell Netware 6.5
  • Novell GroupWise
  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred
  • Microsoft Solomon support experience is a plus
  • Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge experience is a plus
  • ASP or PHP knowledge is a plus
