Description
We are seeking a Desktop Support Specialist for a 2-month contract position with a local, large healthcare client. The ideal candidate will have solid experience providing expert support to IT users, employing a high degree of customer service, technical expertise, and timeliness. In this role, you will be required to use various techniques for resolving problems and demonstrate follow through on problem resolution with users. You will participate in team projects that enhance the quality of desktop support. Track calls and enter solution data into solution database. The successful candidate will have a strong analytical background, customer service skills, and strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems, device drivers and peripheral/printer troubleshooting.

Required Skills: Windows XP, VISTA, NT, 2000 WS, Office 2003, 2007 & Compaq, Dell and IBM HW, printer, scanner, handhelds & wireless devices, PALM & CE OS, TCP/IP.
