Description
PLANIT Technology Group (formerly known as Dataline Consulting Services) is currently looking for a Desktop Support Technician for a position here in Christiansburg, VA.

Requirements:
Considerable knowledge of PC desktop hardware and software support, operating systems including Windows 2000 and XP and software such as MS office products.
Prior experience with drive imaging tools required.
Requires knowledge of networking terms and concepts and troubleshooting methods.
Requires knowledge of call management workflow and escalation procedures.
Requires knowledge of seat management concepts.
Excellent communications, analytical, troubleshooting, interpersonal and problem resolution skills required. Previous experience as an onsite support technician required.
Must be able to work well under pressure.
Prefer industry certifications in software and hardware (HP, Microsoft, A+, etc).
