Robert Half Technology is recruiting Desktop Support Technicians for a minimum 6 month contract position. Position responsibilities will include telephone, e-mail and desk side support of end user hardware, software and peripheral devices. Desktop Support Technician will be responsible for supporting a wide variety of desktop hardware, printers, hand held devices and telephones; work with vendors, partners, and consultants to identify, track, and resolve customer facing issues. The ability to communicate effectively, maintain high levels of customer service, and deliver outstanding technical support will be crucial for a successful candidate.

Experience/Skills
The requirements for the Desktop Support Technician position are as follows: -5+ years of recent Desktop Support experience-MCDST, A+, MCP, MCSE certifications or equivalent experience-Advanced PC Hardware troubleshooting-Advanced Windows XP troubleshooting-Experience with desktop imaging with Norton Ghost-Expert with Microsoft Office Suite-Superior customer service skills-Outstanding Communication and Documentation skills-Ensure that clients receive efficient and timely responses, updates, and resolutions of issues.-Preparation of clients for major upgrades / new releases
