We are looking for a Desktop Support specialist who has excellent customer service skills and can travel 100% across the United States and to Canada

Candidate will be responsible to

. Communicate and coordinate effectively with field based Site leadership and staff.
. Become an expert in the functionality and use of in computer deployment solutions.
. Ensure technical environment readiness
. Proactively communicate and address issues that arise during the deployment process.
. Produce deliverables within aggressive timelines.
. Adapt to frequently changing requirements and constraints on the business.
. Mentor and coach less experienced team members.
. Build strong client relationships.
. Effectively manage scope and time, while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
. Coordinate multiple efforts with very aggressive timelines.
. Effectively manage issues and risk without the need for excessive escalation to project/program manager.
. Work with project team to track and communicate project schedules frequently with regular status meetings.
. Validate and sign off on acceptability of technical environment.
. Provide on-site user support and validate user proficiency.
. Transition site to standard support process.

Education and Experience

Required: A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or similar area of study, and three to five years of equivalent technical experience.


Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements

Preferred: A+, MCSE, Microsoft Deployment Toolkit


Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required

Basic skills in the following areas are essential: Customer Service, remote technical support, hardware and software, computer maintenance, networking, implementation and maintenance of LAN/WAN/WIFI, all Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft Office products, backup systems and applications, reporting and document control, communication, and time management.
