  • Local candidates only (DFW area) - no relocation.
  • Four year college degree highly preferred.
  • Must be able to work for any company in the U.S. without sponsorship needs.
  • Perm only (NOT a contract) and client will not consider contractor backgrounds. Must show 2-3 years per job - no job hoppers.
  • We do not have any other desktop positions available other than this one.

    Job Description:
  • Work with sr. level managers to set up and ensure desktop and laptop computers are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Support Windows XP, MS Office, security software, networking, and applications software.
  • Create sensible plans for fixing problems and supporting users to acheive desired up time with minimal difficulties for the users.
  • Display strong desire and commitment for providing world class services to the company's user community.

    Required Skills:

  • Key to this position: MUST HAVE 2-5 years experience supporting executive group at a large corporation. Four year college degree highly desired.
  • Knock-out factors: More than 10 years experience (prefer less than 5), not coming out of an "executive support" role (like serving on a help desk for a data center or large customer base is not what the client is looking for), inability to communicate and interact at an exceptionally high professional level.
  • 3 years desktop support experience in a large company supporting top tier management.
  • Extensive Windows, MS Office, security software, and other software experience running on desktops and laptops.
  • Install software, set up parameters, troubleshoot problems, improve efficiency, ensure correct backups, etc.
  • Will be actively involved in testing, selecting and purchasing software products.df-tc
